Care Tending Plans

Aftercare services include grave tending .The general upkeep of your grave space from polishing the headstone, Grass cutting/Weeding, Floral Tributes, New Grass Seed or turf, New Coloured Chipping/Stone, Insurance for memorial ( See Grave Tending Plans)

Our Range of Plans

 

Buttermere – 1 Visit Per Year

Ideal for providing free inspection preventing memorial falling into dis-repair . Highlighting problems you are not aware of. Plus free digital photo or attached e-mail for examination. To share with family and friends. Ensuring headstone is well looked after ,in top condition with a special date of your choice.

 

Grasmere – 2 Visits Per Year

Excellent Plan to Link Spring & autumn together, providing seasonal care all year. A fresh appearance to start the spring season and autumn visit to put in order before the approaching winter months. Plus the opportunity to take advantage of seasonal bedding plants/bulbs, Extra service adding colour all year round.Suitable to relatives travelling long distances to cemeteries and churchyards.

 

Thirlmere – 4 Visits Per Year

Full season tendering incorporating, Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter. Popular plan for regular maintenance keeping memorial at its best ,helping you relax in the knowledge that you do not have to overcome the seasonal problems with carrying cumbersome grass cutting equipment, cleaning materials, and replenishing water.

 

Windermere – 6 Visits Per Year

Bi-monthly care plan for people wanting to add that special touch in conjunction with their frequent visits. Having memorial presented at its constant best for regular attendances at a low affordable price. Ideal for relatives wanting to take the stress and worry out of the upkeep of their memorials all year round.

 

Bassenthwaite – 12 visits Per Year

Aimed at families and elderly relatives looking for the best cost effective plan who share the responsibility of continuous maintenance. Offering the best care we can provide also takes advantage of our monumental services saving you extra additional cost on insurance for repairs. (Does not include replacement stone or repairs beyond resources please ask for details before booking this plan).

 

Each care plan includes a small posy of fresh flowers and personal message left after each visit.

 

 

Care Plan Description

Outlined details of each grave tending service.

 

The stone

Light cleaning of monument using eco materials by hand removing, dirt, algae, Lichen, bird droppings .Finished by hand polishing with soft cloths .

 

The Plot

Removing Debris, Leaves, Litter, Spent Flowers, Plants.

 

The ground

Trimming grass around base of headstone borders edged where applicable. Plot area of 9ftx4ft.Grass cut , hand weeded, feed, water , Pruning of shrubs, bushes and trees.

 

Flowers and vases

Memorial pots, vases, ornamentation, washed, polished, faded foliage removed. Replenished with hand cut seasonal flowers plus feed sachet (see additional services)

 

Photograph

Every tending visit concludes with a digital photograph which can be posted or e mailed showing finished before and after work plus work documentation or matters for your attention.

 

Written Report/ Grave Location

Our written report is carried out by a fully trained monumental mason following exact standards laid down in the N.A.M.M code of working practice. This will identify structural defects that may need to be carried on your behalf.

 

 

Terms and conditions

We accept no liability for loss or damage after your order has been completed. A copy of your order will be fulfilled on receiving a digital photo and assessment. This will not be used for any promotional purposes. Unless you supply location details, we offer a one off cost of £12.00 pounds charged if the grave plot details are incorrect resulting in location of memorial not being found.

Add-ons that are temporary unavailable:

We will ensure the theme, style, colour , substituted equal or at a higher value. There is a 7 day period to cancel order once agreed. Care plan undertaken following permission gained from local cemetery and churchyard agreements.
